Dog Park Closures
Starting Thursday, the mulch and small dog areas at Central Dog Park will be closed for an ongoing project, with closures continuing on Friday and Monday. The All Dog Area and Amy Edenburn Memorial Dog Trail will remain open during this time.
Monon Greenway Detour
Starting March 10, there will be a minor detour on the Monon Greenway due to the Midtown Spray Plaza project.
Indoor Aquatics
Slide schedule is subject to change due to programming.
Hazel Landing Park Closure
Hazel Landing Park is closed due to construction of the new pedestrian bridge across the White River. The bridge will connect Hazel Landing Park to Heritage Park in Fishers.
Monon Greenway Detour Notice
Phase 3 of Monon Boulevard begins on 7/29. The detour route will be in place until Fall 2025. For questions, contact the City of Carmel. Look at the Monon Greenway page to see the detour map.

Monon Greenway Detour Due to Midtown Spray Plaza Project

Greenway Closed from West Elm St. to West Walnut St. Starting March 10

Carmel, Ind. (March 5, 2025) – The Monon Greenway will be closed from West Elm St. To West Walnut St. due to utility work for the Midtown Spray Plaza. The closure will start on Monday, March 10, and will remain in effect throughout the day on Tuesday, March 11.

During this time, detour signage will be posted. Monon Greenway traffic will be detoured west to Monon Blvd. (detour map below). For questions about this closure, please contact Carmel Clay Parks and Recreation at 317.573.4044.
