Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation Summer Program Registration Postponed to May 1
Carmel, Ind. (March 31, 2020) – Registration for Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation summer programs, originally slated for April 1, is postponed until May 1. All recreation programs and volunteer events are canceled through Memorial Day, May 25.
“We feel that canceling programs through Memorial Day is a necessary precautionary step as we work to flatten the COVID-19 curve,” said Eric Mehl, CCPR Director of Recreation + Facilities. “The health and safety of our participants and our staff is always our number one priority.”
Carmel and Clay Township residents will receive a copy of the Program Guide in the mail later this week. At this time, CCPR plans to resume its variety of program offerings in June, July and August. CCPR will continually update the online version of the guide to reflect the most up-to-date information. The online guide can be found at carmelclayparks.com/programs.
During this time, the CCPR team is working hard to provide fun educational resources for the community around the themes of nature, art, fitness and more. Please follow CCPR on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter (@CarmelClayParks) for daily posts.
