Prairie Meadow Park
Prairie Meadow Park was developed from 1997-1998. This small park is between the Plum Creek North and Delaware Trace subdivisions. It is a great park for those who love prairies. In fact, more than three quarters of this 5-acre park is native prairie.
A quarter mile paved trail wraps around the park, and a few walking trails are mowed throughout the native prairie. It’s a fantastic place to see all different types of creatures including praying mantises, humming birds, butterflies and flowers. From the overarching prairie habitat to each individual insect, Prairie Meadow Park is an excellent place to learn about nature on both a large and small scale.
