Winter Snow Management
CCPR does not manage snow and ice on our soft surface trails and roads. Plowing of hard surface trails is a secondary priority after parking lots and roadways. The only hard surface trails that receive snow management are the greenway paths – Monon Greenway, Hagan Burke, Greyhound, and White River Greenway as well as hard surface trails in parks with connector trails to the Monon Greenway, such as Central Park, Meadowlark Park and Lenape Trace Park. Thank you for your patience and if you are a cross country skier you have a limited window before we’ll be by with the plow.
As a reminder de-icer/salts are not applied to the Monon or other paths due to the adverse effects on edge vegetation, stormwater ditches, and puppy paws. Please use caution during inclement weather.

Group Visitor Registration
Our parks are popular destinations for camps, schools, and other youth organizations seeking memorable experiences. If your group plans to visit with more than 10 people, please inform us in advance. This allows us to adequately prepare for the increased visitation and ensure a positive experience for everyone. By registering your group for free, we can allocate the necessary staffing and resources to accommodate you. Please use this form to let us know about your visit!
