I am a rising sophomore at Indiana University, majoring in journalism and political science.

At IU I am involved in student publications like the Indiana Daily Student newspaper and the Media Living Learning Center. My passion for journalism began in high school, where I was the editor-in-chief of Lawrence Central’s Cub Reporter student newspaper and a member of the Bears’ Den yearbook. I love storytelling and hope to one day write news or features for a daily newspaper. I am an Al Neuharth Free Spirit Journalism Scholar, an Ernie Pyle Scholar and was named the 2014 Indiana High School Journalist of the Year.

Aside from journalism, I love to play tennis. I played varsity for four years in high school, and now play for fun in college. I’m an advisor for incoming freshman students and IU, and a Hoosier Host for IU alumni who visit the College. I’m big into baking, traveling, watching movies and hanging out at Carmel Parks, of course!
